Paper Issues - Scraplift Sunday

Hello everyone! Today I have a layout to share, made for Scraplift Sunday at Paper Issues. Every Sunday a layout by one of the Paper Issues girls is posted in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans facebook group to use as inspiration. Today a layout by Jennifer McMurtrey was posted and I loved it so much, I had to go make something!

For my layout I used the Pink Paislee Citrus Bliss collection, which is so happy and has these fresh colors. Perfect for a Summer picture!

Paper Issues - Roadtrip

Hello everyone! Last night we've had the June Scrap & Chat event at Paper Issues in our Friends & Fans facebook group. This month the event was hosted by Shannon and Devra and they had a great challenge!

They selected five groups of items that begin with each letter of the word SCRAP. You had to create a project using at least one item from each group:
S - Silhouette, scraps, sew, stars, stamp
C - Crate Paper, car, camera, chipboard, camping
R - red, rub-on, ribbon, rainbow, rounded corners
A - ampersand, American Crafts, alphas, arrow, airplane
P - paint, puffy stickers, project life, patterned paper, PI printable

I made this roaptrip layout using the Crate Paper Journey collection and these are the items I used from the five groups: S - scraps, C - Crate Paper and car, R - red, A - alphas, P - patterned paper and puffy stickers.

If you're not a member of our Paper Issues Friends & Fans facebook group yet, be sure to join us so you won't miss out on any of our events!

Paper Issues - Go see the world

Hello everyone! Today I have a layout to share, made with the Pink Paislee Atlas collection. I used our Scraplift Sunday in the Paper Issues Friends & Fans group for inspiration. This week we're scraplifting a layout by Jana.

I wanted to go for the big title she used on her page. I made the title with my Silhouette sketch pens on white cardstock and watercolored them. Then I placed the Worldwide Gold Acetate sheet over the cardstock.

With the red geo tag I pointed out my place of departure (Amsterdam).

I used the arrivals puffy sticker for my destination (Orlando). In between these cities I placed some of the glitter airplanes to show the route.

Clique Kits - I AM sharing my story

This week it's my turn for Clique into Summer with the I AM Gold kit. My version of I AM is I AM a traveler, as traveling is my biggest passion in life and I travel as much as my schedule allows me to. If you bought the kit, you will have access to my I AM a traveler class, starting today. You can find it under 'the clique' tab on the Clique Kits website. In my class I teach you how to easily document on the go and I'll take you through my process to prepare.

For the project I'm sharing here today, I documented the documenting...ok, that might need some explanation :-) I'm lucky to have a travel buddy who gets my scrapbooking hobby, who understands why I do it and why this is important to me. So you will never hear him complaining when I take picture # 263 of the same object while we're traveling. He also takes pictures himself and sometimes I use his pictures in my albums, to document his point of view or how he is looking at things. When I got his pictures, I started to notice that he secretly takes pictures of me while I'm taking pictures.

Those are not always the most flattering ones of me, but I actually really like these pics. It shows more than anything how I'm preserving memories and I noticed that over the years he took a whole bunch of them. So I decided these pics needed an album of their own.
I made this mini album that I binded with the WRMK Cinch on both the left and right side, so the pages open alternately to the left and right. On this first page you might wonder where I am...you can find me in the middle on the bridge.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Whatever makes you weird is probably your best feature

Hello everyone! Today I have another layout with the Bella Blvd Just Add Color collection to share. I love how you can make this collection easily your own by coloring the papers any way you like it.

I started watercoloring the words in the background paper and decided to keep the words on the black paper as it is, so the title pops out. Between the background and the black title paper I added an extra layer with a piece of the gold confetti transparancy sheet. I love these sheets so much, I think I need a lot more of it!

You can find this collection, as well as all the awesome sticker sheets and enamel shapes, overhere in the Paper Issues store. Don't forget to use code DANIELLE20 at check out for 20% off!

Pacific Coast

Hello everyone! Today I have another layout to share that I've made with the stamp sets that I've designed for Little.Miss.Evie., this time along with the Elle's Studio Cienna collection.

This picture is taken along Highway 1 at a stop a few minuts north of Hearst Castle, where you can find lots of elephant seals hanging out on the beach. I could have stayed there all day watching them, it was so amazing!

I love the soft colors in this Elle's Studio collection and the vellum sheet maybe even more. Because I'm not much of a journaling person, I like to add sentiment stamps to express the feeling of the moment. In this case I used my be-you-tiful and #photoshoot stamp sets.
